Project Manager - Fixed Income Middle Office | Belfast (Hybrid) | £450-£525/day (Umbrella)

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a global financial services firm in Belfast on a 9-month contract.

This is a hands-on delivery role working on critical initiatives across the Fixed Income Middle Office, covering FX, Spread, Rates, and Treasury. You will lead and execute change focused on reconciliation, risk & control, regulatory delivery, and process improvement.

Contract: 9 months
Day Rate: £450 - £525/day (Umbrella)
Location: Belfast (3 days/week on-site)
Start: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Deliver multiple project workstreams in alignment with business goals

• Define and drive the target operating model across Middle Office operations

• Lead stakeholder engagement, governance, and project planning

• Ensure project risks, dependencies, and issues are proactively managed

• Collaborate with technology and business functions to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Manage testing cycles and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Track KPIs and benefits for change delivery

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager (not Programme Manager)

• Background in Fixed Income / Global Markets operations or transformation

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience with process transformation and operating model change

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint; JIRA experience a plus

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
