Project Manager - MS Dynamics (FTC)

Are you passionate about driving innovation and leading transformative projects? Digital Catapult is seeking a Project Manager to join our Delivery Team on an 18-month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the project management and delivery of the Business Systems Transformation Programme, replacing our existing Finance, Programme / Project / Resource Management, and HR systems with Microsoft Dynamics.

What You’ll Do (Duties)

  1. Design, lead, plan, and manage the delivery of activities of the Business Systems Transformation Programme on budget, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
  2. Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
  3. Plan and develop project strategy, structure (workstreams and tasks), and resourcing plans with relevant stakeholders. Define goals, milestones, and targets.
  4. Manage suppliers and third-party vendors to ensure contracted deliverables are met in terms of time, budget, and quality.
  5. Support change management during implementation.
  6. Develop test strategies and plans, coordinating testing phases of Microsoft Dynamics projects, including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  7. Lead and deliver Microsoft Dynamics projects, covering HR, Finance, and Project Operations, using agile and/or waterfall methodologies like Prince2, Scrum, and Kanban.
  8. Collaborate with vendors, partners, and consultants for system implementation.
  9. Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels.
  10. Apply a structured approach to planning and delivery.
  11. Provide accurate reporting to senior leadership.
  12. Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
  13. Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet, JIRA, Trello, and Confluence. A formal PM qualification like PRINCE2 or Certified Scrum Master is desirable. Familiarity with Salesforce/Miro is a plus.
