Contract Opportunity: Project Manager - Service Delivery & ITSM Focus

Location: London - Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

We’re working with a leading organisation in the energy and utilities sector that is seeking a Project Manager with strong Service Delivery experience to support a major IT transformation programme.

This role sits within the Service Management workstream and will focus on delivering business-critical service models and operating frameworks. Ideal candidates will combine project management expertise with a deep understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) practices, particularly around service delivery design, implementation, and transition to BAU.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of the Service Management workstream within a large-scale transformation programme.
  • Define and implement a Service Operating Model across legacy and future-state platforms.
  • Support the transition to BAU, ensuring ongoing support and operational readiness.
  • Align supplier service models with internal frameworks and programme objectives.
  • Own and maintain project governance artefacts including RAID logs, delivery plans, and status reports.
  • Provide clear reporting on risks, issues, dependencies, and progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a key liaison between delivery teams, service managers, and external suppliers.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with significant Service Delivery or ITSM project ownership.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and service transition practices.
  • Hands-on RAID management, delivery tracking, and stakeholder reporting experience.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow is essential.
  • Experience working in regulated sectors (e.g., energy, utilities, finance, etc.).
  • Comfortable operating as a contractor, able to deliver results with minimal ramp-up time.
