Overview

As Project Manager, you will lead on the delivery of a varied programme of sustainability-focused projects, including energy efficiency upgrades, retrofit works, and carbon reduction initiatives across our housing stock. This will also include high profile capital and revenue projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget.

You’ll need excellent communication, analytical, and financial management skills to navigate complex programmes and drive innovation. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities, problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of sustainability-focused projects across housing stock, including energy efficiency upgrades, retrofit works, and carbon reduction initiatives.
  • Manage projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of sustainability in housing, energy performance, and retrofit principles is essential.
  • Confident using data and digital tools to monitor performance and report outcomes.
  • A relevant qualification or demonstrable experience in project management or sustainability is required.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • The role is also available as a secondment opportunity for internal candidates, subject to agreement with the current line manager.

Pay award pending minimum 2.2%.
