Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary complex projects within collaborative delivery teams
  • Client-side project management, including stakeholder, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management
  • Ensure projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for quality, cost, and time
  • Support and manage the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements
  • Actively manage subcontractors and resources remote from the core project team
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members
  • Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients

Qualifications

  • Infrastructure project management experience (Water industry experience desirable)
  • Experience of NEC suite of contracts, particularly PSC and ECC
  • Experience of working as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Highly motivated with a growing industry network
  • Relationship-building skills with clients, teams, and stakeholders; ability to build networks of business contacts
  • Ability to work on own initiative, coordinating with Senior Project Managers and Associates
  • Team player with a can-do attitude; personable, respectful, and flexible
  • Experience of working within a client organisation or through co-location/secondment
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to utilise current digital tools
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills

Education, Professional Qualifications Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a consulting environment providing PM services, including chairing meetings, developing PEPs, progress reports, and tender documentation; post-contract management and stakeholder engagement
  • A relevant degree (project management, engineering, environmental science, construction) or relevant industry experience
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contract management
  • Project management qualification (APMQ or PRINCE2) desirable
  • Associate member of a related professional body preferably chartered (APM, CIOB) desirable
  • You may be required to undertake security screening checks
