Property Conveyancing Lawyer is sought by a values-led organisation to deliver a high-quality, responsive legal service across a diverse property portfolio. The role focuses on residential property matters and operates within a social housing context.

Location: Liverpool, with agile working and travel to St Helens and Warrington offices.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage a caseload of residential property matters including Right to Buy (RTB), Right to Acquire (RTA), staircasing, shared ownership, and leasehold issues.
  • Maintain oversight of the Group’s commercial property portfolio, providing appropriate support where required.
  • Provide timely and practical legal advice to client departments and maintain accurate records of case progression.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to deliver seamless and customer-focused legal services.
  • Build strong working relationships with external legal providers, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Contribute to internal training initiatives to improve knowledge and drive operational efficiency.
  • Stay current on legislation, regulatory developments, and legal best practices affecting housing and property law.
  • Actively challenge and improve legal processes to enhance team performance and service outcomes.

What They’re Looking For

  • Degree level education or equivalent relevant training/experience.
  • Professional legal qualification as recognised by the SRA or equivalent body.
  • Significant experience of maintaining a caseload of both transactional matters and leases (residential and commercial).
