A leading national Tier 1 Legal 500 firm is seeking an experienced Senior Property Damage Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a Partner on a complex, high-value caseload involving major commercial and household property damage claims, including losses arising from floods, fires, subsidence and other significant events leading to multi-million-pound claims.

You’ll handle a diverse caseload involving property damage, policy coverage advice and defence matters, advising leading insurers and corporate clients on technically challenging and high-profile disputes. The work often includes product liability, breach of contract, negligence and insurance coverage issues, offering the opportunity to strengthen your expertise across multiple areas of insurance litigation.

You’ll also have the chance to play an active role in client training and workshops, developing trusted relationships with key insurer clients.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative, expanding team within one of the UK’s top-ranked insurance practices, offering genuine scope for progression, exposure to high-value national work and excellent work-life balance through hybrid working.

The Candidate

• Proven experience in property damage, policy coverage advice and defence
• Strong technical skills across insurance and property litigation
• Excellent communication, drafting and client relationship management
• Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage a varied caseload
• Confident presenting and delivering training to insurer clients
