Property Development Solicitor - Senior AssociateAbout the FirmA leading law firm is seeking a highly skilled Property Development Solicitor at Senior Associate level to join its team. The firm provides expert legal advice across residential and commercial property development, supporting landowners, developers, funders and end-user clients. The culture is collaborative, inclusive and growth-focused, offering a dynamic environment for legal professionals.The RoleThe Senior Associate will play a key role in the Property Development team, handling high-value and complex transactions. The role involves managing residential, commercial and mixed-use development projects, overseeing client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers. There is also scope to work alongside the Corporate team and contribute to broader commercial property matters.Key ResponsibilitiesManage property development transactions, including site acquisitions, leases, licences, development, collaboration and option/promotion agreementsAdvise clients on residential, commercial and mixed-use development schemesConduct legal due diligence, title investigations and prepare reports or certificates for lendersSupervise and mentor junior lawyers and support early career developmentParticipate in business development, networking and marketing initiativesAbout YouProven experience in property development law across residential and commercial sectorsStrong technical skills with the ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents:Land acquisition and disposal processes, development, joint venture and collaboration agreements,Infrastructure agreements, wayleaves and construction law fundamentals, title investigations, reporting and Land Registry proceduresalong withOption and Promotion AgreementsExcellent commercial awareness and ability to provide pragmatic, strategic adviceConfident in managing client relationships and handling complex transactionsHighly organised, proactive and capable of managing a busy caseloadStrong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative, dependable and committed to an inclusive cultureBenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based bonusesHybrid working model for flexible work-life balanceGenerous annual leave and wellbeing initiativesProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesSupportive, collaborative workplace culture with flexible dress codeHow to ApplyLegal professionals seeking a challenging career in property development law are encouraged to apply.
