Protection and Control Engineer – Stafford – hybrid. Up to 80k.

The Role

I am seeking skilled Senior Electrical Engineers to join a multi-disciplinary Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you\'ll serve as a design authority, collaborate on control and protection equipment designs, mentor colleagues, and directly contribute to the energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Protection & Control cabinet designs.
• Answer technical queries and oversee factory testing and commissioning.
• Provide specialized interfacing expertise in Protection & Control for transmission.
• Deliver type testing programs for bespoke P&C solutions.

Requirements

• Hold a degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, coupled with relevant experience.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Protection & Control equipment design for substations of 13kV and above.
• Demonstrate proficiency in configuration and validation using respective software.
• Showcase strong communication and coordination skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
