Are you an experienced Clinician seeking a new challenge in a new initiative?
In the Oxfordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services teams we are focused on ensuring young people gain access to the right care.
We are launching an initiative for one year to focus on young people and their families who require assessment and treatment from the Getting Help and Getting More help teams. You would be joining a specific team to focus on these young people and their families.
The team has a hybrid working model, combining face-to-face and remote working, with different bases across the county. Flexibility depending on where you live would be on an individual basis.
We are looking for clinicians who enjoy working with others, have a flexible approach to delivering treatment and enjoy a challenge. You will have a clear job plan setting out the expectations and will be fully supervised as well as working closely with the rest of the team for support.

The role provides opportunities to work with a wide range of mental health presentations and to develop understanding of and skills in working with young people presenting with neurodiversity and would work closely with the current Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
Role
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to really get involved in the Psychology provision offered within the Oxford North Locality. On a day-to-day basis, this will include:
- Offering assessments.
- A focus on offering mental health assessment to young people who require the support and treatment from Oxfordshire CAMHS.
- Delivering psychological interventions using a range of models through 1:1 sessions and joint parent and young person work.
- If required there may be involvement within various group interventions (including a CBT for OCD group, trauma-focused groups (including parent groups).
