Location: Contracted to our Peterborough office with flexibility for hybrid working

Contract Type: 12 Month fixed term contract - maternity cover

Full time: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 depending on experience

Role purpose We are looking for a proactive, motivated individual who has experience in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) to lead our PPI team. They need to be passionate about the involvement of patients and the public in our charitable activities. We want someone who will not just keep our PPI work ticking over, but will identify, develop and deliver new opportunities for patient involvement. The PPI manager, as expert lead, will shape and drive the direction of the PPI activity to support the delivery of the charity’s aims.

Responsibilities Lead the PPI team; identify, develop and deliver new opportunities for patient involvement; shape and drive the direction of PPI activity to support the charity’s aims; ensure patient voice is embedded in decision making.

What we’re looking for Experience in Patient and Public Involvement (PPI); knowledge of Public Engagement, Patient Engagement, and Stakeholder Engagement; understanding of the not-for-profit/charity sector is desirable.
