Role Summary
Locum Consultant Public Health Medicine – 6 months, based in Norfolk. Enhanced DBS required.
Essential: Inclusion in GMC/GDC Specialist Register or UKPHR for Public Health Specialists and demonstrated ability to provide expert advice on complex public health issues and strategies.
Flexible and hybrid working available.
Key Accountabilities
Provide strategic leadership on healthy living and health improvement, including all-age healthy weight, nutrition, smoking, vaping and behaviour change.
Lead an internal strategic review of healthy weight and nutrition.
Advise on wider programmes such as NHS Health Checks and prevention initiatives.
Work collaboratively across the system to influence long-term public health outcomes.
Key Experience & Skills
Inclusion in GMC/GDC Specialist Register or UKPHR for Public Health Specialists.
Evidence of CPD in line with Faculty of Public Health requirements (or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice on complex public health issues and strategies.
