Public Policy Manager – Integrity Regulation Policy (EU)/2 months contract/57 pounds an hour negotiable/fully remote
Why Join Us?
The Integrity Regulation Policy team plays a crucial role in ensuring that people worldwide can express themselves safely and freely while complying with evolving digital content regulations.
As a Public Policy Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of online safety, free expression, and digital governance across the EU. You’ll work alongside some of the brightest policy, legal, and product minds in tech — influencing laws, engaging with global stakeholders, and building strategies that impact billions of people.
This is your opportunity to make a real-world impact at the intersection of technology, law, and society.
What You’ll Do
- Shape global strategy: Align and influence Meta’s global content regulation approach to drive positive regulatory outcomes across the EU.
- Lead policy insights: Track, research, and analyze emerging regulations in digital content — providing thought leadership and actionable insights to senior leaders.
- Drive advocacy: Support legislative responses, craft compelling messaging, and advise on engagement strategies with policymakers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate globally: Partner across policy, legal, operations, and product teams to align priorities and deliver on regulation goals.
- Be the voice of Meta: Clearly communicate Meta’s policy positions and global best practices to both internal leaders and external stakeholders.
- Protect what matters: Manage sensitive issues and relationships with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethics.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Law, Policy, Communications, Human Rights, or related fields.
- 7–10 years of experience in public policy, government, or advocacy (e.g. regulators, legislative bodies, think tanks, NGOs).
- Expertise in internet technologies, safety, content moderation, integrity, and privacy — with a strong focus on freedom of expression.
- Proven record of stakeholder engagement and advocacy, with excellent communication (written + verbal).
- Strong program management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional, international projects.
- Ability to handle sensitive topics with discretion, diplomacy, and responsibility.
What You’ll Gain
- A front-row seat to the evolving landscape of digital content regulation in Europe.
- The chance to influence global policy decisions that affect billions of users.
- A collaborative, international environment that values innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
- The ability to shape the future of safe and open online communities.
