Responsibilities

The Public Relations & Media Manager will implement the global PR strategy for YES (Your Event Solutions) and support regional Corporate Travel PR activity within the UK and EMEA. This role will focus on executing media campaigns, awards programs, and executive positioning to elevate YES’s global visibility within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) sector. Working closely with the Senior PR & Media Relations Manager, the role will ensure PR activity across both brands is aligned, consistent, and impactful.

Global (YES / MICE)

  • Execute the global PR plan for YES as directed by the Senior PR & Media Relations Manager.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, case studies, and feature stories highlighting YES innovation, events, and leadership.
  • Manage YES global media outreach across MICE, hospitality, and creative industries (via Muck Rack).
  • Implement Executive Positioning & Thought Leadership for YES leadership team:
  • Draft award entries, bylined articles, commentary, and speaker submissions.
  • Identify and secure opportunities at global industry events and in media publications.
  • Coordinate global awards and recognition programs for YES (agency, creative, sustainability, leadership).
  • Track and report YES media coverage, sentiment, and share of voice.

Regional (Corporate Travel – UK/EMEA)

  • Implement ALTOUR Corporate Travel PR campaigns locally, supporting UK/EMEA announcements, thought‑leadership features, and media relations.
  • Manage relationships with regional business, trade, and procurement press.
  • Support regional Corporate Travel events and sponsorships with local media outreach and coverage.
  • Identify opportunities to profile ALTOUR and YES executives in UK/EMEA leadership publications.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Provide earned media, award, and executive content inputs to the Content Marketing Manager for organic social posts.
  • Work in close partnership with the Senior PR & Media Relations Manager to ensure brand alignment, message consistency, and coordinated global activity.
  • Contribute to reporting dashboards and PR measurement metrics (coverage, sentiment, reach, share of voice).

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of PR/communications experience, ideally in events, hospitality, travel, or B2B services.
  • Proven success implementing PR campaigns and managing media outreach.
  • Experience developing executive thought‑leadership content and award submissions.
  • Skilled in drafting press materials, pitching to journalists, and coordinating global PR calendars.
  • Experience using PR platforms such as Muck Rack for pitching, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident engaging with senior stakeholders and media.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
