Purchasing Consultant

This role is to strategically manage inventory levels across the US and UK marketplaces, source new suppliers, and maintain relationships with current suppliers. You should be experienced in procurement across various international markets and platforms, and speak multiple languages, including, but not limited to, English, Mandarin, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify stock levels and shortages, and develop purchasing plans.
  2. Research and identify prospective suppliers, maintaining strong supplier relations.
  3. Negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
  4. Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
  6. Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items, addressing any shortcomings.
  7. Prepare reports and maintain accurate inventory and procurement records.
  8. Work hours: 37.5 hours per week.
