I am recruiting for a highly successful hedge fund who is looking to expand their commodities trading desk following a huge increase in that area of their business in the past 18 months.

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to work closely with traders and other developers on the commodities trading desk in Central London - hybrid working 2 days a week in a lovely office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders and other developers on the commodities trading desk in Central London.
• Develop and maintain software for front-to-back trade life-cycle support.
• Contribute to the evolution of trading systems and processes in a front-to-back environment.
• Engage with the team on long-term contract potential with the possibility of multiple extensions.

Qualifications

• Senior Python Developer with exceptionally strong technical acumen.
• Knowledge and experience of front-to-back trade life-cycle (ESSENTIAL).
