Role: My client is looking for an experienced Python Software Engineer to join their rapidly expanding development team, leveraging Python to streamline and automate critical processes. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize trading algorithms, order execution systems, and real-time data processing tools using Python to support front office trading strategies.
• Work closely with traders and quant teams to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and enhance the trading platform’s functionality and performance.
• Focus on improving system performance, minimizing latency, and ensuring high availability of trading systems, with a strong emphasis on efficient Python coding practices.
• Develop tools for real-time monitoring, risk assessment, and analytics, ensuring the systems can handle large volumes of market data and provide timely insights to the trading desk.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or STEM based subjects.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant role such as Python Software Engineer or Quant Developer.
• Proficiency in modern software development practices, including version control and agile development methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information sharing.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for ongoing learning and a proactive attitude towards adopting new technologies.
