About the Team
The team develops software for Roku consumer products, focusing on platform-level features between device hardware and the operating system. Tasks range from hardware drivers to user-facing UI features, supporting all Roku Player platforms.

About the Role
You will design, develop, and support embedded software systems that enable our products, with Roku OS inside. You will work on new technologies and capabilities while maintaining existing code quality and performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of QA responsibilities for assigned features to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
- Working with Python automation to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Creating test plans and strategies tailored to project requirements.
- Engaging in manual testing to validate functionality and identify issues not captured by automation.
We're Excited If You Have
- Understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- At least 2+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be self-directed in a dynamic environment.
