Overview
Here at Whitbread, we are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to help drive key initiatives across Infrastructure, Security, and Operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in this unique opportunity to work within a dynamic team and be able to have a big impact on improving our QA processes in future as well as look for emerging trends and tools in infrastructure, security, and operations testing.
Role: QA Engineer
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent
Location: Whitbread Court, Dunstable - Hybrid working, 3 days per week in office
Salary: Up to £50,000

What you'll be doing
As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in upholding the quality, security, and reliability of our infrastructure and security solutions by designing, developing, and executing robust test plans.
Alongside the above, you will design, execute, and maintain manual test cases to validate product quality as well as drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to QA processes, tools, and frameworks.
What you'll need
- Previous experience working as a QA Engineer or similar role within testing
- Experience of working on Infrastructure, Network servers and Security projects
- Strong grasp of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect management, and various testing methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
- Experience of handling multiple projects at any given time
- Demonstrable experience of driving continuous improvement across QA
