QA Quality Improvement Specialist
- Location:Market Drayton, Telford, or Minsterley (Hybrid)
- Hours:Monday to Friday, 9am5pm (flexible)
- Contract:12-month Fixed Term
Were looking for an experienced and drivenQA Quality Improvement Specialistto support quality and process improvement initiatives across our three manufacturing sites. This is a technically focused role requiring strong cross-functional collaboration with site teams and Group Functions.
What Youll Be Doing
- Act as the Quality lead for implementation of EPD and NPD across all Yogurt and Dessert sites, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement and technical input.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and support cost-effective recipe changes and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain systems to monitor quality and food safety performance.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality issues.
- Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional standards and company values.
- Facilitate best practice sharing across sites and support the development of operational strategy.
- Lead quality-related elements of continuous improvement projects in line with business and operational goals.
- Support quality systems during commissioning of new assets.
- Oversee specification management for EPD and NPD, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure ingredient information is approved and available pre-launch.
- Ensure all NPD documentation meets BRCGS, retailer and third-party certification standards.
- Proven experience in a technical quality role within food manufacturing, ideally across multiple sites.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience with SAP, digital QMS tools, and project management.
