Job Title: QHSE Administrator Apprentice

Contract Type: Apprentice

Salary: £10.00 per hour for candidates under 21; £12.21 per hour for candidates 21 and over

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Location: Arlington, London

Role Profile

• Learn to maintain and organise QHSE-related documents such as risk assessments, compliance certifications and safety records.
• Learn to support the QHSE team with monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with targets, including incident, near miss, training, face fit testing, risk assessment compliance, asbestos compliance and lone worker safety device usage.
• Learn how to collate data, update reports and produce management reports.
• Assist in managing the day-to-day running and monitoring of the team’s channels and mailbox.
• Learn how to provide administrative support during investigations and follow-up actions.
• Help to manage the QHSE team SharePoint site – monitor team members\' file documents correctly.
• Assist in the maintaining of the certification of ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and PAS99
• Learn how to take accurate minutes of meetings
• Support with maintaining a record of all monthly QHSE communications – this may include KPI reports, changes to Safe Systems of Work, safety alerts etc
• Collating monthly QHSE communications in readiness to communicate to the business – This may include KPI reports, changes to Safe Systems of Work, safety alerts etc.
• Maintain excellent levels of attendance at college/tutor sessions and successfully achieve a level 3 qualification.
• Learn how to onboard new contractors, and how to manage the safety compliance once onboarded.
• Learn how to coordinate diaries for QHSE Advisors.

This role will be predominantly on site with some flexibility for home working.

• The role will be exposed to sensitive information; therefore, the role holder is expected to maintain levels of confidentiality at all times.
• To fulfil the requirements of this role, you will be required to work flexibly during the hours of operation.
