Overview

Quality Director - Children’s Residential Services at WILDERNESS WAY. This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading strategy, strengthening compliance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and safeguarding across our portfolio of children’s homes. The role involves partnering with the CEO and operational leaders to champion innovation and best practice within a growing, values-led organisation. This is a hybrid role with the expectation to travel to our Head Office in Penrith at least once a week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy for quality across the portfolio of children’s homes and drive continuous improvement in care standards.
  • Oversee audits, regulatory compliance (Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015) and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Coach and develop leadership teams to deliver exceptional care and consistently exceed regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and operational leaders to embed a culture of safeguarding, innovation, and best practice.
  • Monitor and strengthen quality assurance processes, policies, and practice to ensure safety and wellbeing of children.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in quality leadership within children’s residential care.
  • Deep knowledge of Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Confidence to influence, challenge and inspire at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on attitude and a commitment to doing what’s right for children.
