Plexus is seeking a Quality Team Lead to drive quality excellence across complex manufacturing and engineering operations. This leadership role places you at the intersection of technical quality standards and high-level customer interaction, offering exposure across aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors.

You will work across multiple Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100), broadening your technical perspective.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the Engineering Team: provide effective leadership, coaching, and succession planning to develop the Quality and/or Supplier Quality staff so the team reaches its full potential.
  • Drive Proactive Quality: partner with functional leads to ensure quality capability meets manufacturing requirements and standards; proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Master Stakeholder Interaction: communicate goals and quality concerns with internal teams and customers, handling difficult conversations when needed.
  • Manage Performance: monitor and report quality performance and drive timely corrective actions.

Is This You?

We are looking for a quality-minded leader who is ready to grow. A background in electronics is a plus but not required. We welcome applications from manufacturing, process, or other engineering backgrounds and encourage a step-up opportunity for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate Must Possess

  • Proactivity & Ownership: a self-starter who challenges the status quo and takes ownership of the role.
  • People & Customer Skills: excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with the team and key customers.
  • Technical Foundation: Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of related experience with a solid technical basis to develop and advise the team.
