Job Description

Leading Global Energy Trading business is now looking to hire an Junior Quantitative Analyst to join their Singapore based Analytics team. The role requires strong Python programming/coding skills and will work with their trading models which provide market fundamentals analysis.

The role will work closely with the Front Office providing market analysis and technical insight. You will be running the models and looking to improve their effectiveness. The key focus will be the Gas and LNG markets.

To be considered for this role you will need a highly numerate degree alongside strong Python modelling experience. Ideally prior experience in energy or commodity trading will also be very useful as well as experience in a quantitative or data analytics role. You will need well developed analytical and numeracy skills coupled with excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work in fast paced energy trading business culture.
