Overview

Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Commercial Manager role at TieTalent. Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days from home and 3 days on site/office in London. Salary: £60,000 - £74,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you’ll be instrumental in the post-contract commercial delivery of major, high-value NEC civils packages. Your responsibilities will predominantly include post-contract commercial administration, including:

• Compensation events
• Applications for payment
• Dispute resolution
• Commercial reporting

This role is assistant in name only, and it actually offers full commercial management ownership of a section of the project.

Ideal Experience / Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
• Post-contract administration experience — advantageous but not essential
• Prior experience in infrastructure, rail, highways, utilities, civil engineering or similar project types
• Strong experience with Contract Management generally, including use of a CMS (such as CEMAR)
