Overview

We're working with a respected civil engineering contractor that's looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into their team based on the South Coast. They've got a strong reputation in the industry, a steady stream of work in the civils and utilities sectors, and a commercial team that offers genuine support and progression.

Responsibilities

  • Help manage the costs on civils projects from start to finish
  • Work with the commercial team on subcontractor procurement and payments
  • Assist with valuations, forecasting and cost reports
  • Support the management of change events and variations
  • Attend client meetings and ensure commercial matters are on track
  • Use NEC contracts (training provided if you're not fully up to speed)

Qualifications

  • Experience with a civils contractor or similar infrastructure work
  • A good understanding of NEC contracts
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Good with numbers, detail-focused, and able to work as part of a team
  • Someone who wants to grow with the company and develop their career
