Great opportunity for a RAD Awards Programme Officer to join the Faculty of Education team at the Royal Academy of Dance
We are seeking an RAD Awards Programme Officer to support Academic Programme Managers in the management and delivery of several programmes of study and awards of the Royal Academy of Dance on a 12-month Maternity Cover basis. You will support onsite and distance learning students, liaising closely with Registry, as well as academic full-time, part-time and sessional staff to deliver an efficient, timely and professional service. This role is a part-time position, working across 4 days for 28 hours each week.
Joining us, you will have:
- Experience of delivering administrative processes and procedures, as well as servicing meetings, ideally in a higher education context;
- Knowledge of digital resources to support learning and teaching – experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (e.g., Moodle) is desirable;
- Strong analytical and IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and Web Content Management;
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, and confidence in dealing with inquiries from the general public, colleagues, and students;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience of working in a higher or further education context would be desirable.

This role involves a high degree of contact with children and is classified as ‘regulated activity’. It is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
