Reaching Wider Data and Evaluation Manager

The Reaching Wider Team at USW is seeking to appoint a Data and Evaluation Manager to ensure their activities and decision-making are continually evidence-informed. This is a new role and the post holder will be expected to design and manage processes and systems.
The post holder will support the Reaching Wider programme nationally with credible, robust, timely intelligence and specialist advice relating to the measures that underpin the Reaching Wider Strategy. They will advise colleagues on areas for improvement and sharing of good practice.
The successful candidate will have a curious nature, a passion for evaluation, data analysis, strong numerical skills, and a love of solving problems. They will have experience of turning data into actionable insight and translating complex analysis for key stakeholders to influence change, including using external benchmarks to identify areas for improvement.
The role will also involve developing a performance culture across Reaching Wider by providing training, development, and credible expert support to key individuals regarding understanding and acting on intelligence.
The post is based in the Planning, Performance and Transformation Team at the University of South Wales, located in Pontypridd, with some home working. It offers a role where you can utilize your organisational, interpersonal, and research skills to support the success of the Reaching Wider programme. The post holder will be line managed by the Performance and Intelligence Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position.
