Role Details
As a Real Estate Business Development/Fundraising Manager you will be responsible for:
- Owning the delivery on the fundraise efforts globally for the EMEA Real Estate investment platform.
- Leading the coordination and development of fund marketing plans for Real Estate, working closely with colleagues across generalist Sales, Investments and Product divisions globally.
- Driving the analysis and related documentation associated to the sales strategy and capital raising across Real Estate strategies with respect to fund marketing, but also SMAs and co-investment syndication.
- Developing strong productive relationships with internal distribution partners.
- Leading the coordination for the delivery of specialist investment content associated to RFP and DDQ activity for Real Estate.
- Working closely with the broader DWS generalist sales team, acting as the lead specialist sales support towards Real Estate strategies.
- Working closely with teams such as Product Specialists, Research and Investment Managers to convert sales opportunities into AUM flows.
- Taking ownership for broader Investor Relations activities, including LP Advisory Committee meetings and LP engagement, including Fund AGMs and annual Investor Conferences.
We Are Looking For
- Sound knowledge/experience within the Real Estate investment industry with exposure to topics such as valuations, underwriting and due diligence processes.
- Experience within functions associated to Institutional fundraising within business lines such as Investor Relations, Client Relationship Management and/or Investment Marketing.
- Experience of utilising Real Estate subject matter expertise in contributing to the production of specialist investment content for RFP and DDQ activity to support capital formation strategies.
- Strong networking skills and proactive approach to working with colleagues across the business, but equally adept at working autonomously.
- Highly structured approach with project management skills and strong analytical skills using Excel.
- Ability to connect and build strong relationships with others, highly developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Educated to degree level in a relevant financial field or with relevant industry experience.
