Job Title: Real Estate Manager

Location: Westcott or Frimley, Broad Oak, Christchurch, Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £55,000 dependent on experience

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering Real Estate Management Services to BAE Systems businesses primarily in the UK but globally as required
  • Supporting the Real Estate Strategy Manager in the development of a Real Estate Strategy for sites and the implementation of the strategy
  • Supporting the Head of Programmes & Real Estate in the reporting and measurement of Real Estate Business Plan performance
  • Providing Landlord and Tenant expertise to the business including lease negotiations, rent reviews etc.
  • Managing the sites for which they are responsible to increase the asset value to the Company
  • Monitoring and influence Planning policy for the sites and develop master plans
  • Work with internal and external legal support on the negotiation and completion of legal agreements
  • Manage the acquisition and disposal of real estate to deliver business requirements

Your skills and experiences

  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage budgets including cash flow, forecasting, EBIT
  • Knowledge and experience of Real Estate Market and Land Law
  • Experience of working in property consultancy, Corporate Real Estate and/or Asset Management
  • Experience of dealing with internal & external stakeholders at all levels

The Real Estate team

The Real Estate team is a central team in shared services that manages real estate portfolio for the business. They cover a very interesting and diverse portfolio of asset classes, offices, industrial spaces as well as submarine construction facilities.
