The Role

Based in Manchester, you will join the Real Estate Knowledge Counsel team, working closely with Real Estate Transactions, Legal Project Management and Legal Tech/Automation teams.

This role combines traditional knowledge counsel responsibilities with a significant focus on leveraging innovation tools and legal technology to enhance transactional efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing legal support and guidance to the Real Estate Transactions team
• Maintaining and developing standard documentation
• Delivering legal updates on sector developments
• Designing and delivering training programs
• Innovation Focus: Working with Legal Project Management and Legal Tech teams to implement AI and other legal technologies to streamline real estate transaction processes

Requirements

Essential:

• Qualified Real Estate Lawyer with 3-5 years PQE
• Comprehensive knowledge of real estate legal practice and market sectors
• Demonstrated experience with legal technology and AI tools (such as Harvey, Orbital Copilot, knowledge management systems)
• Strong interest in legal innovation with understanding of basic coding/programming principles
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to provide clear, concise legal guidance
• Strong market awareness and understanding of client commercial drivers
• Outstanding communication, presentation and training capabilities
