About Langham Recruitment

Langham Recruitment is expanding. We're looking for an experienced recruiter to join our Norwich office and take a lead role in building a contract desk within our well-established UK technology recruitment practice in the built environment. This is a unique opportunity to step into a warm, high-potential desk with access to over 50 active clients, a proven track record of more than 400 successful placements, and a reputation as a trusted partner across the sector.

Why Langham?

Our directors host well-attended quarterly events to bring together IT leaders from the UK's largest housebuilding and construction companies. We pride ourselves on being more than just a supplier of talent. We are a strategic partner, supporting digital transformation projects across AI, Data, and ERP within these companies. Check out the case studies and Trustpilot reviews on our website for more information.

What we’re looking for

  • A Recruitment Consultant with experience in developing long-term client partnerships.
  • The ability to deliver a thorough and effective recruitment process using LinkedIn Recruiter to fill a variety of IT contract roles into Built Environment clients. Roles include Project Managers, Business Analysts, Solutions Architects, ERP Specialists, BI and Data contractors.
  • The ability to use our sales methodology to develop business with new contracts, including following up with people who have attended our events and speculatively highlighting strong candidates to relevant hiring managers by effective use of the CRM.
  • Someone confident and engaging with customers in video and face-to-face meetings, able to represent Langham as a market expert.
  • Ambition to establish and grow a contract desk, with the potential to develop a team.

The opportunity

You’ll be joining a business with an established reputation and client base, but with the autonomy to take ownership of a desk and build it into something bigger. This role is about moving beyond transactional recruitment—delivering solutions that shape digital transformation projects—and positioning yourself as a trusted, strategic partner.

If you’re looking to move away from restrictions, micromanagement, or lack of flexibility, this is a rare opportunity to build your career with the backing of a successful, supportive, and forward-thinking recruitment business.
