Job Title: Recruitment & Employment Officer

Location: Newham, E16 (applicants must live close to E16)

Term: Temp, 12 weeks with the possibility of extension

Rate: PAYE 18.33 hour

Hybrid: but must be prepared to work in the office at least 3 days a week

This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional recruitment services while ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide seamless recruitment support to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with various teams to create a positive recruitment experience.
• Manage and resolve employment queries, promoting customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records in Microsoft databases and prepare reports on recruitment performance.

What We're Looking For:

• HR Knowledge: Experience with HR and selection procedures in a local government context.
• Legislation Awareness: Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and best practises.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to documentation and compliance.
