Recruitment Officer - 12 month fixed term contract

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to oversee recruitment activity within our Unplanned Care Division, covering a 12‑month secondment.

This fast‑paced role is ideal for someone who can quickly adapt and take initiative. Additional training and support will be provided for candidates demonstrating the core competencies.

The service operates across both Hillingdon and Mount Vernon sites, with flexibility for remote working from home. Working hours are between 9am and 5pm.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and advising on recruitment strategy and processes for the division
  • Providing a professional recruitment and advisory service to managers and candidates
  • Vacancy management using TRAC
  • Processing new starters and internal changes via ESR
  • Conducting pre‑employment checks
  • Managing visa applications
  • Participating in interviews when required
  • Supporting international nursing recruitment
  • Contributing to additional recruitment projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the NHS or a similar setting
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Familiarity with TRAC and ESR systems is desirable
