About The Role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional recruitment services and supporting hiring managers to find the best talent? We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Recruitment Coordinator to join our Recruitment Services team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a comprehensive, value-for-money recruitment service across the University. You’ll work closely with the Recruitment Services Manager to ensure a smooth and effective hiring process, while also providing expert advice on recruitment policies, procedures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Provide guidance on advertising, selection methods, redeployment, and equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Maximise the use of our Recruitment system to support data-driven recruitment decisions.
  • Supervise and support the Recruitment Support Assistants in the absence of the Recruitment Services Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and record retention policies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in recruitment, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of planning and organising self and others to deliver against agreed service standards and deadlines in a high volume, process-driven, administrative environment promoting a positive and enabling culture that puts the customer at the heart of service delivery
  • Demonstrates a commitment to the University’s values, understands the importance of diversity in the workplace, and acts as a role model in treating all contacts with respect and patience.
