Travelodge is looking for a proactive and innovative Refit Product Manager to join our centrally based Product & Proposition team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our hotel and bar café environments, delivering projects that enhance the guest experience and drive commercial performance.

So far this year alone, we’ve invested in 80 hotel refits, 26 bar cafés, and over 5,604 rooms, with more to come. This is a permanent role in a part of the business that’s receiving significant and ongoing investment, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact as we continue to transform our estate.

What’s it all about?

As Refit Product Manager, you’ll be the product champion for the hotel and bar cafe refit program, aligning it with strategic objectives and enhancing customer experience. You’ll agree scope of works, manage cross-functional initiatives, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to bring to life our brand’s refreshed design vision. From managing project timelines to ensuring our brand standards are met across each unique location, your expertise in planning, relationship building, cost management and attention to detail will be essential. You’ll also lead operational engagement sessions and support our Property and Product teams in delivering new customer-led design solutions for our hotels. Post-project, you’ll analyse performance and feed insights into future plans.

Who will this appeal to?

This role is ideal for a strategic and organised refit, construction or new openings manager with strong project delivery experience, ideally in hospitality or retail. You’ll be confident leading complex programmes and influencing cross-functional teams. With a keen commercial acumen and a creative eye, you can balance customer needs with business objectives, driving revenue growth, cost savings and customer satisfaction. You need to be always ready to take a hands on approach, make quick problem solving decisions and are comfortable working at pace to deliver results. Strong relationship-building skills are key, along with a proactive, can-do mindset and the ability to work independently. Experience in F&B refits or brand-focused renovation projects would be a strong advantage.

What are the extra bits?

Permanent position- 37.5 hours per week

Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience

Option of company car or car allowance

This is a field based role with typically three days out in our refit hotels and two days working from home with the ability to come to our support office in Thame if needed
