Overview
The Regional Account Director is responsible for the development and nurturing of a key HH Global client in the Beverage sector. This role strengthens client relationships, identifies growth opportunities for the business, and ensures solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial targets. The Regional Account Director leads dedicated client teams in delivering innovative point-of-sale (POS) and branded merchandise solutions, and works to grow the relationship with the client while building the team as the account develops.
This role is based on a hybrid basis from the UK, the Netherlands or Madrid.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation and delivery of HH Global’s regional account strategy for the client
- Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the client organization
- Ensure that the contract is managed in line with contractual responsibilities
- Manage overall financial performance of the account, with risk analysis and remediation
- Lead operational delivery for the client across key categories, including in-store temporary POS, window installations, and permanent high-end retail fixtures and installations
- Drive innovation and product development to deliver world-class solutions to demanding clients
- Motivate the team to meet and exceed expectations of a market-leading position
- Identify new business opportunities and deliver account growth
- Provide regular management information (MI) and high-quality account relationship plans
- Produce client communications documents to a high standard for executive-level presentation (e.g., strategic reports, QBRs)
- Ensure activities comply with company policies and procedures
- Operate effective two-way communication within a regional, matrix-managed team
- Build partnerships with client leads and decision makers; provide strategic insights and revised solutions based on market dynamics
- Refine and improve creative and production solutions; evaluate spend to maximize value from economic and service perspectives
- Shape the account structure and team for ideation, sourcing, procurement, production, and execution of client projects
- Staff the account appropriately and manage seasonal peaks
- Train, mentor and work closely with the Account Management team
- Drive performance accountability and oversee overall account management to ensure superior customer service
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Experience working with international technology and retail brands delivering in-store solutions
- Strong strategic client account management and direct client interfacing experience
- Experience working with clients across multiple European markets
- Ability to develop and implement a strategic customer account plan across markets
- Knowledge of outsourced procurement solutions for marketing execution
- Strong knowledge of development and production of Print, POS and merchandise; experience with permanent or semi-permanent retail fixtures and installations is advantageous
- Innovative mindset to deliver high-end solutions that create inspiring retail environments
- Ability to analyze complex operational, financial, spend and product data and present strategies grounded in data
- Leadership capability to motivate a dedicated client team, including employee development and mentoring
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Entrepreneurial and creative mindset
- Proficient with MS Office software
- Willingness to travel within Europe on occasion
