We are growing fast with 20 countries active and more coming. We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to take this unique opportunity to gain exposure to our most important business areas. This role is a paternity/maternity cover (Nov 25 to Dec 26) for our two largest regions (South & Center Europe) and will work with key stakeholders, including Cluster VPs and management teams.
Your role
Reporting to the Global Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, and working closely with the Vice President for Cluster Center and Cluster South, you will own the financial performance in the central & southern European countries. You will collaborate with the Country Directors, operational VPs, and Global Management to ensure performance on top and bottom lines. You will translate the company's strategy into an actionable financial plan for your region, participate in the monthly business review processes, monitor results, and analyze performance to deliver on the plan for the region. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide insights and financial perspectives to enable sustainable decision making and direction.
You will meet and collaborate with regional management to translate strategic objectives into actionable financial plans. You will be an integral part of financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring follow-up on results and fulfilling commitments for the region.
Main responsibilities
- Act as principal advisor to the cluster leadership team on financial & performance matters
- Build strong relationships with business managers and provide ad hoc support for sound commercial decisions aligned with strategy
- Facilitate performance discussions and instill ownership of P&L and key metrics
- Challenge the countries on ambitions, direction and ability to manage results
- Deliver reporting, financial perspectives and support to meet process obligations & result commitments
- Develop business cases with insights and impact analysis
- Instill unit economics understanding and capital allocation mindset with business owners
- Deliver managerial analysis and reporting with Global Finance and Global Data Analytics
- Participate in global strategic projects providing financial insights for decision making
- Strengthen alignment and use of data in country operations linked to forecasting
Requirements
We are looking for aspirational and cooperative colleagues with integrity, a positive attitude and passion for supporting our business owners.
- Relevant Master's Degree in Finance or related disciplines
- Significant experience in a Finance role (operations experience is a plus)
- Strong foundation in finance processes, management reporting, performance management and ad hoc analysis
- Proficient Excel modelling; Google Suite experience is a plus
- Effective communication skills in an English-speaking organisation
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, proactive, structured work approach and ability to work independently
- Based in Copenhagen or London (or willing to relocate)
