Job Description

Principal People are working exclusively on behalf of a UK-wide organisation within the Transport and Logistics industry. We are looking for a Regional Health and Safety Advisor who has experience within a Health and Safety position and is keen to make the next step in their career. This position is a multi-site role covering multiple sites across the UK.

This is a hybrid position with fully autonomous travel to sites and a high degree of flexibility. The role involves working closely with the wider safety team, who are committed to mutual development and support. Key responsibilities include auditing across the company and developing clear action plans based on findings.

Each site presents different challenges, making this a great opportunity to advance your career in Health and Safety. The main duties include:

1. Offering appropriate advice and support to site teams regarding Health and Safety matters
2. Auditing locations within the group against high safety standards
3. Creating and executing an auditing schedule across UK locations
4. Building positive relationships with sites to enhance the HSE culture
5. Working with underperforming sites to develop improvement strategies

Ideal candidates will have:

• A NEBOSH General Certificate
• Experience in operational Health and Safety
• A full UK Driving License
• Previous experience in a regional role (beneficial)
