A leading manufacturer in the civils and utilities sector is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to manage and grow a well-performing territory.

In this role, you’ll be selling a specialist range of pipeline-related products into national and independent merchants, while also generating end-user demand with groundworkers, utility contractors, and infrastructure specialists.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing existing merchant accounts across the region
  • Conducting joint visits with partners to contractors and sites
  • Delivering training and supporting branch staff
  • Building demand through key end users across gas, water, power, and telecoms projects
  • Developing new business opportunities in an area with untapped potential

This is a field-based role offering autonomy, strong pipeline support, and the chance to work with a premium technical product.

Our client is a global engineering group and a market leader in pipeline systems, supplying into major infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. They manufacture a wide range of technically advanced products used in utilities, energy, and telecoms applications.

With a strong UK presence and multiple production sites, the company exports to over 50 countries and has a long-established reputation for innovation, quality, and reliability.

Person

We’re looking for a proven sales professional from within the civils, utilities or pipeline sector.

You may have experience with:

  • Pipeline products, valves, fittings or infrastructure components
  • Civils or utilities merchants
  • Selling into groundworks, district heating or utility contractors

You’ll need strong relationship-building skills, a good understanding of the distribution channel, and the ability to engage both suppliers and end-users.

Location preference: Candidates based in Essex or nearby areas are strongly encouraged to apply, as this area offers significant growth potential.
