We are looking for someone to take full ownership of the independent and some key accounts in Denmark.
Reporting directly into the Business Development Manager EU / Head of Sales EU, you’ll focus on maximizing all sales opportunities within the existing book of accounts as well as identifying new target retailers.
Working with the Business Development Manager EU / Head of Sales EU to establish and execute the company strategy for your region.
This role will be based in Denmark, ideally Copenhagen, with an initial training period at our London Headquarters, White City.
You must be able and willing to travel within your area as well as to London for meetings and tradeshows as required.
Fluency in both Danish and English is needed for this position.
You'll be;
- Developing and executing the territory growth strategy alongside the Business Development Manager EU/ Head of Sales EU.
- Forecasting seasonal product/revenue for your territory.
- Presenting new ranges to your accounts.
- Ensuring regular visits/communication with all retailers/buyers.
- Working alongside the customer service team to ensure all enquiries/orders/deliveries are managed to a satisfactory standard.
- Identifying business opportunities and growing the region using a strategic approach.
- Attending in-country trade shows.
- Supporting the in-country seasonal launch conference.
- Applying commercial awareness to make ‘brand-appropriate’ decisions.
- Having weekly updates on key meetings, opportunities and territory growth.
- Ensuring we are in all the right points of distribution that align with the brand luxury and premium positioning and presentation.
You'll have;
- Previous experience as an account manager or regional sales manager.
- Proven experience of managing a book of accounts.
- A track record of growing a territory in a commercial/strategic way.
- High accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
- A personable and positive approach, you’re accustomed to maximizing sales through professional relationships, whilst understanding business limitations.
- Remaining mindful of the ‘Jellycat’ tone and communication style associated with our brand.
- Confidence in making commercial decisions, happy to take direction from more senior team members when needed.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- The ability to understand the wider context of managing accounts, liaising with different functions of the business internally, focused on clear and concise communication.
- Fluent in both Danish and English - written and spoken.
