Overview Regional Support Manager - Children's Residential Care Salary: £58,000 + up to 10% annual bonusHybrid with regional travel - Midlands to the South of England The Role As a Regional Support Manager, you will provide flexible, high-quality support across multiple children's homes. Your responsibilities will include:
Offering "parachute" support to Registered Managers when extra capacity or expertise is needed. Delivering audits, coaching, and mentoring to drive best practice and continuous improvement. Providing interim management cover where required, ensuring consistency and high standards. Supporting staff teams to maintain safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environments. (On rare occasions) assuming home registration responsibilities if circumstances require.
About You We're looking for resilient and adaptable leaders who can step into challenging situations and bring stability, confidence, and improvement. You'll bring:
Significant experience in children's residential care, ideally as a Senior/Peripatetic Registered Manager or equivalent. A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and quality standards. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills. The ability to quickly assess, stabilise, and strengthen services. Flexibility and willingness to travel across a regional network.
