Regional Support Manager – Highgate Care

We’re currently looking for a Regional Support Manager to join the team at Highgate Care working remotely covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Base pay range: £55,000-£60,000

Job Description

As our Regional Support Manager, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of residents by supporting the homes and directors across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Support the homes when a Manager is absent and provide support to the Directors.
  • Attend local authority meetings, Regional Team Meetings, and Safeguarding Meetings as required.
  • Provide on-call and weekend cover as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the homes.
  • Audit and support all staff to deliver their duties in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and safe to meet the needs of the residents at all times.
  • Audit and oversee the introduction and reception processes for all new residents.
  • Audit and ensure the protection of all residents, safeguard and promote their health, welfare and quality of life.
  • Assist staff in overseeing the development of a care plan for each resident in consultation with the resident, other relevant professionals and, where appropriate, the resident’s representative or family members.
  • Audit and ensure the effective implementation and review of all care plans.
  • Investigate all complaints, carry out the required action, and report to the Director and, where necessary, the Registration Authorities.
