Overview

Regional Transport Manager - South PGP role at BOC UK & Ireland. Home based within the United Kingdom. Ref: req25707.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the south region of our PGP distribution network.
  • Provide visible safety leadership, embedding a culture of zero incidents (GOAL ZERO), while ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures and external requirements.
  • Support and develop frontline leadership, fostering capability and accountability.
  • Ensure effective resourcing, cost control, and service delivery across your region.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement using data, practical insight, and team engagement.

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience managing transport operations.
  • Experience leading people and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
  • Understanding of transport compliance, safety systems, and risk management.
  • Skilled in performance analysis, strategic planning, and structured problem solving.
  • Ability to lead change with clarity and empathy.
  • Hold (or be willing to work towards) CPC & NEBOSH qualifications.
