MMP Consultancy currently has an opportunity for a Regional Voids Lead to join a housing association based in Clapham. This is a permanent position paying £43,441 p/a + Benefits.

Overall Responsibility:

Manage the end-to-end process of Void Works within the region, ensuring compliance with standards and statutory requirements. Collaborate daily with key stakeholders to address and improve any delays, documenting issues for continuous improvement. Maintain up-to-date systems and administrative functions for efficient process operation.

This key role reports directly to the Regional Head of Property Services, emphasizing its importance. The role requires strong time management and organizational skills to ensure successful void performance, a critical business indicator. The successful candidate will own and deliver process improvements to reduce void turnaround times and rent loss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive key-to-key turnaround performance, identifying efficiencies and inefficiencies through monthly reports.
• Implement, challenge, and document weekly meetings with stakeholders to improve voids performance.
• Ensure key process stages are completed within timescales, escalating delays as needed.
• Collaborate effectively across all staff levels to motivate and improve performance in the voids process.
• Ensure timely approvals and respond within agreed timescales.
• Question and challenge use of SORs, scope, and quality issues, escalating as necessary.
• Prepare monthly reports with accurate data to inform business decisions regarding void management.
• Occasionally visit sites to verify scope and influence final decisions.
