Overview
Registration Manager – General Chiropractic Council (GCC). Location: London / Hybrid, at least 1-2 days a week in the office (SE11). Salary: £58,729 p.a. plus benefits. This is a professional regulatory healthcare role focused on leading the Registration function, maintaining accurate and reliable registration records, and supporting public protection through high standards of governance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Registration function and team, overseeing the annual cycle of continuous professional development (CPD) for registrants and improving the user experience for staff and members.
- Manage the full cycle of registration processes and ensure compliance with GCC standards.
- Support panel decisions on registration, provide advice on complex cases, and act as the escalation point for complaints.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve efficiency and customer experience, developing new processes with users in mind.
Who you are / Essentials
- Proven leadership experience within a statutory, regulatory membership environment or professional standards function, preferably healthcare.
- Ability to think strategically and develop operational solutions; strong understanding of professional registration frameworks, public protection principles, and regulatory law.
- Experience in professional accreditation, compliance or standards-based work; strong written and verbal communication skills for current and prospective members.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail; capable of making evidence-based decisions.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Desirable
- Experience in leading teams within a regulatory environment and engaging diverse stakeholders.
