Registration Manager – professional regulatory healthcare

Are you an inspirational leader with a real interest in protecting public health, safety and wellbeing. This is a new position where you will have a genuine opportunity to impact, shape and establish the role, leading a team that are responsible for the Registration function; ensuring the Register is accurate and reliable.

The GCC provides a regulatory framework for Chiropractors and ensures the safety of patients undergoing chiropractic treatment in the UK.

The Opportunity

The Registration Manager will lead the Registration function and team, responsible for overseeing the annual cycle of continuous professional development (CPD) for registrants and improving the user experience for both staff and members. This includes managing the full cycle of registration and membership processes and ensuring compliance with GCC standards.

The Registration Manager will also support panel decisions on registration, provide advice on complex cases, and act as the escalation point for complaints.

Essentials

  • Proven leadership experience gained within a statutory, regulatory membership environment or professional standards function, preferably healthcare
  • Able to think and act strategically in role and develop and apply operational solutions
  • Strong understanding of professional registration frameworks, public protection principles, professional regulatory law, procedure and its practical application
  • Experience in professional accreditation, compliance or standards – based work
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with experience in writing and producing content for current and prospective members
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Possess high level decision making with a balanced, evidence based approach
  • Proficiency with using CRM systems and Microsoft 365 (excel, powerpoint, word, outlook)
