The Titan Wealth Legal team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, proactive and resilient candidate who thrives on the pressures of delivering consistently high-quality advice to a dynamic and constantly evolving business, for a challenging and rewarding Wealth Management legal role focusing on regulatory advisory (UK and international) work to join their legal team on a permanent basis.The role requires the ability to manage a diverse workload of matters ranging from keeping abreast of regulatory developments impacting the Titan Wealth businesses, advising on regulatory implementations to assessing regulatory implications of new business initiatives and specific client situations.
Responsibilities
Assisting with the identification of new regulations that may impact the Titan Wealth businesses
Impact analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements either in the context of regulatory change or business expansion initiatives in the context of wealth management
Advising and liaising with Titan Wealth compliance colleagues on a wide range of issues, such as interpretation of regulations, assessment of cross-border scenarios and new policy development
Advising on wealth management client and product documentation
Responding to ad hoc legal queries arising from the Titan Wealth businesses
Liaising with outside counsel on a broad range of domestic and cross border jurisdictional issues
Critical Skills and Experience
Qualified lawyer in England and Wales
A minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a UK financial services regulatory role in private practice and/or as in-house counsel
Experience with UK regulatory requirements including the FCA’s Consumer Duty
Experience in both legal and regulatory risks associated with a wealth management business
Ability to articulate legal issues, risks, complex concepts and the commercial implications of a recommended course of action in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications (Essential & Desirable)
Qualified lawyer in England and Wales
A minimum of 3-5 years post-qualification experience in a UK financial services regulatory role in private practice and/or as in-house counsel
