REGULATORY LAWYER (3 : 5 PQE) – London / Hybrid – Salary GBP 55,000 – 65,000

Responsibilities

• The appointed lawyer will oversee fitness to practise cases handled by external Legal Providers, ensuring investigations are timely, fair, and of high quality.
• You will lead and mentor a small team of paralegals, providing guidance to External Legal Providers on evidence, strategy, and procedural matters throughout case development and hearings.
• Act as the main point of contact for External Legal Providers, monitoring casework, data, and performance to address issues or escalate when needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applications are welcomed from candidates with at least 3:5 years' post‑qualification experience as a solicitor, barrister, or CILEX lawyer, who have experience managing complex caseloads, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and preparing cases for hearings.
• This role requires extensive knowledge of UK regulatory and healthcare law, rules of evidence, and the ability to make sound, evidence‑based decisions.
