Role description: A full-time role working in the UK Reinstatement Cost Consultancy Team. UK based but with flexibility to accommodate home working. The nature of this role is such that flexibility is required and a willingness to support on occasions, outside of core working hours to ensure that client and delivery deadlines are met.

We are looking for a Chartered (MRICS) cost consultant to predominately work within the Reinstatement Cost Assessment team but also to provide cost consultancy support to the Building Consultancy team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop the RCA team, coordinating with Manila support and collaborating across Europe.
  • Manage service delivery and provide bid support for portfolio and framework RCA bids.

Cost Consultancy:

  • Offer general cost consultancy advice on a variety of projects, including Capex analysis, construction, procurement, and maintenance works.
  • Collaborate with Building Consultancy teams and wider business for seamless support.

Client and Team Development:

  • Engage in client development and sales, ensuring service excellence.
  • Prepare marketing materials and capability statements.
  • Develop and enforce new processes for quality and consistency.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee financial management of RCA projects, with potential for career growth through team development and revenue generation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • MRICS qualified with experience in RCA preparation.
  • Effective communication, service delivery, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage client expectations and deliver accurate, timely work outputs.
  • Strong team player who guides junior members.
  • Articulate, detail-oriented, and organised.
  • Multidisciplinary experience with a global perspective.
  • Proactive, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrates sound financial management and confidentiality.
